The heyday of music mash-ups may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun with it. Whoever created the themagicipod.com did a very good job, because you can easily combine hip hop classics from the 2000s with equally big things on the rock side of the spectrum.
Using a simple drag-and-drop interface, you can hear what it’s like to combine J-Kwon’s “Tipsy” with Smash Mouth’s “All-Star” (yeah, that’s technically a 90s track but who’s really counting?). How about hearing DMX’s aggressive barks and growls over the soft acoustic guitar of “Hey There Delilah?”
