While Wakanda may be forever, many of its residents cannot say the same thing about their own corporeal being. Marvel aficionados likely recall climactic battle of Avengers: Infinity War, in which the living heroes stained Wakandan soil with the dark goo of Thanos' army. Yet the Mad Titan ultimately prevailed, getting off his catastrophic Snap because Thor neglected to spend a little more time in the practice range. From that point on, fans were forced to watch their favorite heroes - including Black Panther, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, and Peter Quill -transform into black dust, essentially dying with unfinished business and sequels alike.

Yet some wondered if Shuri, sister of T'Challa, brilliant scientist, and preserver of "What Are Those?!?!?!?, managed to survive the Decimation. Though her ultimate fate was not revealed in the film, Marvel has since confirmed that she was indeed a casualty of the Snap. As those that fell were given black and white posters, Shuri's fate was indeed sealed. Still, it's unlikely that she'll be gone for too long, as the entire second phase of the MCU is currently hanging in balance.
