More beautifully emotive club-leaning R&B from Majid Jordan. "Free (Us)" is the duo's first new track since they dropped their debut album in February.

A couple more talents from within OVO's deep roster stepped up tonight to deliver special guest mixes on the label's Beats 1 radio show. First up on tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio was "Hotline Bling" producer Nineteen85, and then it was Jordan Ullman of the duo Majid Jordan. Ullman closed his mix by premiering a brand new Majid Jordan song called "Free (Us)," the first new track from the Toronto housey R&B duo since the February release of their self-titled album.

Stretches of plunky synths moving slowly along with a quietly grumbling bassline accompany intermittent rushes of skittering 808s, which transform the ballad into an entrancing dancefloor burner. Majid Al Maskati, who had his own track on Drake's VIEWS, lays down incredibly impassioned vocals about the type of love he's not ready to face. He knows just when to let his emotions flood in sync with the turns in his brother's production. Honestly, these two might be the most underrated members of Drake's Canadian powerhouse.

Majid Jordan will begin the second leg of their North American tour in support of Majid Jordan on Sept. 30 in Montreal. See all of the dates here. It would be thrilling to catch "Free (Us)" in a live setting.

Quotable Lyrics

I took the car last night, I swear I drove it coast to coast
Went looking for your love but didn't get much luck you know
My mind is racing and I'm thinking I should take it slow
Sometimes I feel like maybe I was wrong, yeah
