After premiering his "Dang!" collab with Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller shares the release date for his next album, "The Divine Feminine," and confirms a feature from Kendrick Lamar.

Earlier today, Mac Miller returned with his first single of the year, "Dang!," and it was a good one -- a funky jam that found him as well as Cali auteur Anderson .Paak exploring romance in a refreshingly breezy manner. After premiering the single on Beats 1 radio, Mac hopped on the air to tell Zane Lowe that "Dang!" is the first single off his upcoming album, The Divine Feminine, a project that was originally conceived as an EP. He said that the album will be a soundtrack to "the journey that is love," and he revealed that it is set for release on September 16.

Though "Dang!" is the only track that's been confirmed for The Divine Feminine, Mac did reveal a few of the guests who are set to contribute to what will be his fourth album. The three artists he confirmed for The Divine Feminine are Kendrick Lamar, Cee-Lo Green, and Robert Glasper. Mac's upcoming track with Kendrick will be the pair's second collaboration, following the 2012 Macadelic track "Fight the Feeling." The jazz pianist Robert Glasper's latest foray into hip-hop came on Kendrick's To Pimp a Butterfly

From the sounds of it, The Divine Feminine will be totally different from all of Mac's previous work...and we couldn't be more excited. Check out the album artwork below.
