The Lakers don't seem to be too phased by the news surrounding their team.

Last night was a pretty wild night in the NBA. Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade played their final home games for their respective teams, and multiple players had some strong performances. Perhaps the biggest news though came from the Los Angeles Lakers. Team president Magic Johnson announced that he was stepping down from the team. This news was then complemented with the bombshell that the entire coaching staff was expected to be fired following the game. Add in the fact that the Lakers lost last night and you got a perfect firestorm on your hands.

Despite all of this, the Lakers players didn't seem too phased by all of the news. According to TMZ, LeBron James and a whole slew of his Lakers teammates were out partying at the Tao Restaurant in Los Angeles. "Mo Bamba" rapper Sheck Wes was performing there and James was accompanied by the likes of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, and JaVale McGee.

"So today I'm going to step down as president," Johnson said before yesterdays game. "I don't wanna...[team owner Jeanie Buss] and I have such [an] amazing relationship. I think that she gave me full power to do what I wanted to do, but I think that with her and I, I want to always preserve our relationship and love her. I think that I had more fun when I was able to be the big brother and ambassador to everybody."

The Lakers will now be setting their sights on free agency where they hope to pick up a second star player to perform alongside LeBron.
