Kanye West is a real one for this.

Kanye West has been painted as many things, and in recent years, the rapper has been perceived as somewhat of an enigmatic narcissist. In fact, people who don't follow his music mainly know Kanye through his antics, which have admittedly been up-and-down of late. However, Kanye has been taking a break from the public spotlight, allegedly working on his upcoming followup to The Life Of Pablo, producing King Push, and possibly lacing music for GOOD Music's Desiigner. And while Mr. West seems poised for a triumphant musical return in 2018, a recent report from XXL reveals a softer side of Kanye's seemingly larger-than-life personality.

XXL reports about a story that originally broke on Twitter, in which a user by the name of Debbie opened up about something Kanye had done in her community. In response to a tweet about Kanye havinga great 2018, Debbie revealed a heartfelt anecdote about the G.O.O.D. Music founder, writing "This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her. I think Kim was there too. Wasn’t even blasted on social media or anything. She passed yesterday. I have so much respect for him tho. Making her happy in her last moments." While the story remains in development, Debbie shouted out fan Team Kanye Daily, who helped make it all happen.

Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian seemed to have confirmed the incident, tweeting out prayers to the young fan's family. Say what you will about Kanye, but deep down, he's clearly a man of integrity.
