Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will finally have a place to call home soon. After living with Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, for the past year, Kanye & Kim have “opened escrow” on a lavish $20 million mansion located just minutes away from Kris Jenner's family home in Calabasas.
According to E! Online, The estate sits on 3.5 acres of land and features some sick amenities like two swimming pools, two spas, two barbecue centers, and even its very own vineyard.
The news comes just weeks after reports that the couple was looking to sell their $11 million Bel-Air property, which is still under construction. An anonymous source told E! that Kanye and Kim were interested in the added space, and that’s one big reason for the soon-to-be house swap. The source stated,
"They wanted more land than the Bel-Air home, so they are flipping that and will have the two homes now. But they will sell that Bel-Air home and just move into Hidden Hills."
Considering the couple’s popularity, E! News reports that the purchase was also motivated by concerns of privacy. "It is way more private and secure with a whole security home above,” the source said.
