JR Smith's daughter Dakota, who was born five months premature in January, was released from the neonatal intensive care unit yesterday. She weighed just one pound at birth and has spent the first five months of her life in the neonatal unit at the Cleveland Clinic.
JR made the uplifting announcement on instagram yesterday, sharing pictures of him and his wife finally leaving the NICU with their baby girl.

After last night's Game 4 victory over the Celtics, JR reportedly didn't stick around to see if the media had any questions - he sprinted home to be with his family.
