There have been a number of set photos and videos from the upcoming Joker film that have made their way online. DirectorTodd Phillips was the first to begin uploading behind the scenes looks from the Warner Bros. origin film, but soon, set photos from passing fans began to circulate as well. The film is being shot in New York and New Jersey, and will explore a young Joker before he takes a dive into the criminal world. Joker will also star Zazie Beetz as a potential love interest, Robert De Niro, and Marc Maron.
New set photos from the still-untitled Joker film hit the web on Wednesday (October 18), and it appears the Clown Prince of Crime has been caught. Phoenix can be seen in full Joker makeup, smiling from the back of a police vehicle. The shot is reminiscent of Heath Ledger's Joker cop car scene, although the late actor was in the passenger seat for his infamous moment.
Another series of recent leaks show Phoenix's Joker running down the street, and also sprawled out on top of a cop car, looking as if he just fell from a building. With DC and Warner Bros. looking to release a hit film, all eyes are on the Clown Prince. The untitled Joker film touches down next Fall.
