Rappers and R&B singers get plenty of gigs on late night television, but it is a special honor-- generally only bestowed upon the Macklemores of the world --to appear on Ellen.
Jhene Aiko was able to finesse her way onto the show, performing her hit "The Worst" with a live band. Ellen threw plenty of praise upon the Sail Out singer, gushing about her love for the single.
Aiko's breakout success continues to build exponentially, and should culminate with the release of her upcoming debut album, Souled Out.
The album is set for release later this year on Def Jam.
