There seems to be reason for excitement among Jay Z fans, though according to veteran producer Swizz Beatz, "They don't even know what's about to happen."
In the caption of his new Instagram post, showing a picture of him and Hov, Swizz wrote, "Album ModeZone."
Rumors regarding new Jay Z music -- and perhaps an album -- were already swirling before Swizz' new Instagram post. It was recently revealed that the Roc Nation boss will be hitting a couple of big stages this fall -- headlining his own Made in America Festival as well as Austin City Limits, and fans are already wondering if he'll perform a new body of work during the comeback shows.
Will this album that Swizz speaks of be Jay Z's first since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail? Whatever it is, Swizz seems to have confirmed the existence of a project involving him and the Marcy legend. In 2017, that pairing is still more than capable of shaking up the whole rap game.
