J Balvin's "Machika" (Remix) has the Earth on its Axis.

If this Machika (Remix) is meant to represent the pinnacle of each region, The United States feels underrepresented. Yes, G-Eazy is a serviceable rapper with a devoted fan base, but his ascendance as a viable pop act has come into question with all the ready made Rappers currently at our disposal.

G-Eazy can make a career out of disposable verses, or vanity trades like "Machika" and his children's children will be set for life. The novelty of hearing G-Eazy rap in Spanish for a few measures is completely lost on me, but who's to say it won't appeal to you?

J Balvin's "Machika" is already a Global phenomenon, following in the footsteps of "Mi Gente," his first stab at finding a common denominator amongst the people of North & South America. His new album Vibras is indeed a kaleidoscope of sound, subscribing to various elements of Bachata, Afrobeats and general Tropicalia.

Quotable Lyrics:

I'm flying south like a falcon
I'm fresh off the jet i put up on J Balvin's
My wrist platinum like all of my album
She reached in my jeans
& pulled down my calvins

-G-Eazy
