Nicki is playing with her fans' emotions on Twitter.
Nicki Minaj's "Black Barbies' went from a simple "Black Beatles" remix to an official track when the rapper and Mike WiLL Made It decided to license the track for iTunes and streaming services, now it may get an official video.
Minaj just celebrated her birthday by taking an island vacation, sharing some photos of her thriving in a skimpy bathing suit on Instagram to prove it, but it seems she may be filming a music video at the same time. Today she posted a swooping shot to her IG, soundtracked by none other than "Black Barbies," and looking very much like the intro to a music video for the track. Fans freaked out accordingly, but Nicki, as she's been known to do, had some fun with their expectations, responding to excited posts with tweets like "Who said anything about a video? [thinking face emoji]" as well as "*sits back and watches y'all spazz*".
At this point, who knows if there's a "Black Barbies" video on the way, but the new clip seems too stylish not to be used for something important. Maybe a whole new single?
