The full list of nominees for the 74th Golden Globes were announced this morning on NBC's "Today." The film to receive the most nominations is the newly released "La La Land," starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, with 7 nominations. "Moonlight," a film that depicts the coming-of-age of a gay black man, received six nominations. Leading all TV series is FX's "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," with 5 nominations. HBO looks to be the most successful TV network, with its productions gaining a total of 14 nominations, whereas FX followed with 9.
Donald Glover is up for the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series -- Musical or Comedy, for his role on FX's "Atlanta," of which he is the creator as well as the executive producer. The show is also nominated for Best Television Series -- Musical or Comedy.
It has been announced that Meryl Streep will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in the film industry.
The 74th Golden Globes, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, will air on January 8 on NBC at 5-8 PM PT/8-11 PM ET.
