The Game's "Year of the Wolf" album may not break the 30k mark in first week sales.

The Game's new album, Year of the Wolf, was supposed to be a compilation with his Blood Money crew members, Dubb and Skeme. While those two still appear on the record a few times, the driving force of the album is The Game and a stack full of features-- not his artists though. So it seems like Year of the Wolf has become a sort of solo warm-up album to The Game's more anticipated solo project, The Documentary 2.

After Year of the Wolf hit shelves two days ago, the first week sales projections have arrived. These sales projections are pretty mediocre, with the album expected to move 27,000-30,000 copies opening week as HipHop-N-More reports. The album was not released on a major label like his last album Jesus Piece, which did 86k opening week. This one was distributed through indie imprint eOne.

What did you guys think of this album? You can stream it in full here if you haven't yet. The Documentary 2 is scheduled for January 18 2015.
