The first teaser trailer has been released for "Barry," the straight-to-Netflix biopic about the young Barack Obama.
Obama has been surging in popularity and approval as of late, and it appears that as he reaches the end of his term, Hollywood is gonna try their best to capitalize on his social capital.
Netflix has just released the first teaser for "Barry," a dramatic film depicting Barack's early years as a 20-year-old college student. The teaser doesn't tell us a lot, but we look forward to seeing the first Black president getting lit at frat parties, using his public speaking prowess to win himself a couple hoes.
This is the second film released this year about Barack Obama's pre-presidency life. The first was the box office blunder "Southside With You," a critically acclaimed film about Barack's first date with Michelle.
"Barry" will be available on Netflix on December 16. According to Complex, the film has already received rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival. Watch the trailer for "Southside With You" below, and "Barry" above.
