After plenty of surprises during Eminem's headlining set at last weekend's Governor's Ball, fans went home satisfied having seen their idol perform in the flesh. Taking place over a three-day period in New York City, Governor's Ball is one of the top festivals on the East Coast. As the organizers attempt to outdo themselves every year, a festival experience can sometimes be infinitely improved through unexpected surprises. While a line-up is usually announced months in advance, surprises can often bring the experience over the top of your expectations. For example, Meek Mill's surprise show at Rolling Loud in Miami made the crowd go insane. A similar effect was had when 50 Cent made his way onto the stage during Eminem's set last weekend.

With both working together frequently at the beginning of their careers, they have enjoyed enormous levels of success with each other's help. 50 Cent captured footage of his surprise experience at Governor's Ball, sharing a video of his performance with Shady and revealing that the two had met with the Make-a-Dream Foundation to greet children at the event. Welcoming several kids and teens from the organization, Em and Fif were together like old times as they met them in the backstage area, giving them the opportunity of a lifetime to speak with two of the most talented legends the industry has ever seen.
