The RIAA has announced that Drake's VIEWS is certified platinum. The rapper and singer's fourth studio album has had a staggering sales year, setting chart and streaming records throughout.
VIEWS was certified triple platinum back in August, four months after its release in April.
Drake is planning to follow up the album with More Life, a project he's described as a "playlist," and one that he has suggested will be released sometime this month.
Drake was announced as the most streamed artist on Spotify last week. It's safe to say that the new streaming rules applied to RIAA certifications have helped his platinum status a great deal.
