"What they say? Don't put money to your ear? Oh, I didn't hear that."

Jay-Z's 4:44 contained many lessons for rap's younger generation, but one particular line about the popular "money phone" pose has garnered a considerable reaction. “Y’all on the ‘gram holdin’ money to your ear,” said Jay on "The Story Of O.J." "There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here."

It's already been speculated that Future had a subliminal response to the line, and now Drake has come with his own light-hearted take on the criticism.

A video has made its way online of Drake pressing two fat stacks of cash to his ears and seemingly joking about Jay's bar. "What they say? Don't put money to your ear? Oh, I didn't hear that," he says with a grin. Now that Drake and Future have each thrown their support behind the "money phone" pose, it might not be going away anytime soon.

Drake was eager to hear Jay-Z's 4:44 album the night it dropped, reportedly requesting the project to be played over the speakers in a Baltimore restaurant he was eating at. It's often been speculated that Drake and Jay-Z have taken subliminal shots at one another on record, most recently with a few vague bars Hov rapped on DJ Khaled's "Shining."
