How many times now has Drake shut down a perfectly relaxed evening with an episode of OVO Sound Radio? As he turns 30 tomorrow, listeners knew tonight's show would be special, and indeed, Drake started by announcing a new project, More Life, and ended by dropping four new songs in a row. Three of those songs will appear on More Life, and the remaining exclusive was a remix of "Wanna Know," a buzzing track from 17-year-old London emcee Dave aka Santan Dave.
Drake, who's now a regular in London due to his partnership with Skepta and BBK, has likely turned "Wanna Know" into a veritable hit. He opens the song and adds another bout of his smooth singing flow after Dave's opening verse. Dave lays down a tough hook but it's a soft, melodic record -- certainly in a different league than BBK's pummeling sound. Will "Wanna Know" blow up in the same fashion as most of Drake's past remixes?
