Earlier this year, Desiigner was arrested in New York City on felony gun and drug charges. Two of the charges were dropped the following day: criminal possession of a loaded weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
TMZ reports that the two remaining charges against Desiigner have been dropped: misdemeanor charges of menacing and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Prosecutors from the New York District Attorney's office moved to drop the charges today.
Neither Desiigner nor his three other co-defendants, Michael Davis, C.J. McCoy and Utril Rhaburn, were present in court to personally receive their ACDs, or “adjournments in contemplation of dismissal." Desiigner's attorneys told TMZ, “We’re happy he’s been exonerated.”
