CJ Fly, a founding member of Pro Era, is gearing up to release his debut album, FLYTRAP. On his birthday in July, CJ released three tracks that didn't make it onto FLYTRAP. Now he's finally unveiled the first single off FLYTRAP: "Now You Know." The track is produced by Matt Noble.
Over a sparse and ominous production driven by grimy synths, CJ sings a resounding hook, which builds up the requisite level of suspense to properly usher in the lengthy, breakneck freestyle that ensues. "Now You Know" is CJ's message to those who've constrained him in the past. Big mistake to let him break free.
FLYTRAP is set for release some time this fall via Pro Era and Cinematic Music Group.
