The Iraq War has already proven fertile ground for movies – American Sniper recently got six nominations and one Oscar two years ago. Now Netflix has created a movie about the darker side to the war called Sand Castle. It continues the trend of having very high-profile actors filling the lead roles, with Nicholas Hoult and a surprisingly-grizzled Henry Cavill as the main character. Check out the trailer below.

The show will be directed by Fernando Coimbra, who was behind the helm of the hit Netflix show Narcos. The gritty underbelly and uncertainty that marked the Iraq War will be on full display based on the trailer, with the main character attempting to break his own hand to get out of deployment in the first 15 seconds.

Unlike many of the other Netflix movies and shows that have been promoted recently, this one is actually coming out soon. Sand Castle releases on April 21.
