Buddy returns with "That Much." The first single off his upcoming EP.

Buddy has been working for damn-near eight years straight. The Compton native has been making moves and waves through the industry for the same amount of time. Today, he releases the first single off of his upcoming Magnolia EP. "That Much" is a cool, west coast banger that serves as an anti-brag anthem by the 23-year-old.

Buddy weaves through the banging beat as he usually does. Since his last release, it seems that his flow and overall abilities as an emcee have become more refined. It's a new side of the bubbling artist that's bound to attract some new fans and attention.

While his last project Oceans & Montana was entirely produced by Montreal producer, Kaytranada, Buddy uses a similar tactic in maintain consistency in sound by recruiting Mike & Keys (formerly known as The Futuristiks) for the single as well as his upcoming project. All three artists come from a gospel background so the chemistry between them works seamlessly. This isn't the first time they've teamed up to create something magical. In 2016, Buddy nabbed the production duo for his single "Shine."

"That Much" was premiered earlier on Zane Lowe's Beats1 program during Carl Chery's segment of the show.

Buddy has a huge year ahead of him. With the release of Magnolia coming, he's definitely bound to make his own dent in the game.

Quotable Lyrics
I want it all, I want it all,
This dedicated to all y'all
If y'all broke, that's y'all fault,
Hop in the whip and I skrt off
