Taking it back to a classic from one of the NY's best lyricists.

In honor of Fat Joe’s buzzing track “All The Way Up,” we’re bringing it way back to a time when Fat Joe and Big Pun (RIP) were the ones throwing down remixes. It’s also fitting after the NYPD Commissioner used a very unfortunate concert shooting as a reason to call all hip hop artists "basically thugs."

“Twin (Deep Cover 98)” is a remix of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s classic anti-cop anthem “187um,” and Snoop makes an appearance in the video as a blessing. Big Pun’s verses sound just as good today as they did when the song released in 1998, and Fat Joe holds his own against one of the genre’s most slept on lyricists.

We apologize for the edited version; sometimes there’s nothing you can do.

Quotable Lyrics

I rub your face off the Earth and curse your family children
Like Amityville I drill the nerves in your cavity filling
Insanity's building a pavilion in my civilian
The cannon be the anarchy that humanity's dealing

- Big Pun
