It's been a minute since we've heard from August Alsina, but he's ready to get the ball rolling on his highly-anticipated sophomore album. After announcing the heavy title This Thing Called Life last month, August is now ready to drop his new single, and its set to be a tear-jerker.
The track is called "Song Cry" (an obvious reference to Jay Z's 2001 single of the same name), and with a trailer released today, the video is on its way. In the clip we see footage from Ferguson protests, as well as Alsina's on-stage collapse from 2014. It's gonna be an emotional one, look out for the full video soon.
