The DONDA creative team have outdone themselves once again. Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar began their highly anticipated "Yeezus" tour in Seattle, Washington last night, and to it describe it as a spectacle would be an understatement. Yeezy's 2-hour, 27-song set included a series of mask and wardrobe changes (including the Red Octobers), ballerinas, snow, a white mountaintop and an appearance from Jesus himself (Kanye allegedly uttered "White Jesus, is that you?" when the actor appeared).
'Ye performed selections from his entire discography, among them "Cold", "Mercy", "Hey Mama", "Blood On The Leaves", "Stronger", "Power" and "Jesus Walks", opening with "On Sight" and finishing with "Bound 2". Kendrick's opening set was facilitated both by Flying Lotus and a live band, and he performed hits such as "Don't Kill My Vibe," "Money Trees" and "Compton".
The next stop on the "Yeezus" tour is in Vancouver this evening.
