Drake Brought Future Out To Perform "WATTBA" Tracks At Austin City Limits Oct 4, 2015 at 10:17am
Just before dropping their joint project, Future brought Drake out during his set in Toronto, and last night at Austin City Limits, Drizzy returned the favor. As a result, we got to see some What A Time To Be Alive songs performed for the first time live, as the two rappers ran through "Big Rings," "Digital Dash," "Jumpman," and more. The Austin crowd was definitely feeling the new material, and seeing a couple clips from the show, the songs work well in a live setting, though next time we hope they break out "Diamonds Dancing".

Marvel has been repeatedly endearing itself to hip hop fans the last few months with their impossibly cool remixes of well-known hip hop album art as comic book covers. Their last batch tackled the likes of 2Pac, Jay Z, Mos Def -- this time, they rework covers from such hip hop veterans as Missy Elliott, Geto Boys, and Redman along with a few newer faces.

Last week belonged to Drake and Future, and while their numbers didn't live up to the inflated projections, they still managed to keep Lana Del Rey, Mac Miller, and the persistent Beauty Behind The Madness out of the top spot. Miller's major label debut came in at number 3, a little lower than his previous independent offering, but we're sure the new money behind him will keep the gears moving throughout the year.

Drake recently threw up a pic to Instagram of a hoodie and a cap, both a creamy pink hue and bearing the "1-800-HOTLINEBLING" seen on the track's cover art. Capitalizing on the fact that no one can get that goddamn hook out of their head -- "you used to call me on my celllllll phone...." -- OVO just dropped the hat on their online store. The embroidered pink unstructured strapback cap is available for $45. The hoodie isn't up yet, but we can only assume that that is on its way.

The game allows you to select the disembodied head of one of three characters -- Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin --  and bounce upward from platform to platform, finding your tempo amidst a diamond-encrusted landscape. Shoutout to hip hop-savvy programmer that put together this internet masterpiece.

Drake On Meek Mill: "Don't Worry, He's Dead Already" Sep 27, 2015 at 12:49am
It seems that fans chanting "Fuck Meek Mill" is fairly commonplace at Drake shows these days, enough that the OVO rapper decided to address some fans dissing his rival."Don't worry, he's dead already," Drizzy joked at his Landmark Festival performance in DC earlier tonight, which was answered by cheers from fans.

Jahlil Beats Says Drake & Meek Mill's Beef Might Not Be Over Sep 25, 2015 at 07:01pm
Though the beef between Drake and Meek Mill barely lasted a couple of weeks, it was by far the most sensational event to happen in hip-hop all year. It's now two months after Meek Mill's Twitter fingers ran wild, and we thought the beef was long over with. Not so fast, says Jahlil Beats, who produced Meek's one and only diss track, "Wanna Know."

With the FADER 100 issue, Drake has given his first interview since early 2014. As he hasn't spoken to the media during a time when the media wants him most, the new issue finally lets fans hear Drizzy touch on some controversial topics that have surrounded him for much of the summer. Even though he dealt with said controversies about as well as he could have, most of us still have a few tough questions that we want to direct at the "6 God."

For its 100th issue, FADER has gotten a cover star worthy of the occasion: Drake, who has given the magazine his first extended interview since his infamous February 2014 feature in Rolling Stone, in which he felt his words were manufactured to create a false conflict with Jay Z. His new cover story comes at a time when he's one of the world's biggest pop stars -- soon after signing a $20 million contract with Apple Music and days after releasing one of the year's most hyped projects with Future, titled What a Time to Be Alive.

Who Had The Better Verse: Drake Vs. Future Sep 23, 2015 at 03:31pm
What a Time to Be Alive has finally resonated on our ears. The ten-song effort is a testament to many things: the prominence of the dark, druggy, Atlanta trap sound; Future's work ethic; Drake's diversity. The album is one of the more surprising releases in recent history, and recent history has almost exclusively boasted albums that were (at least trying to be) a surprise.

There was a time when Future was pretty reserved in interviews, but those days are behind him. The Atlanta rapper covers the latest copy of XXL magazine, and with an early look at the interview, he seems to be saying a whole lot. Some of the hard questions came out, with Future weighing in on the Drake and Meek Mill situation, his relationship with Ciara and their son, and of course -- the question on everyone's mind -- what's the deal with those Gucci flip flops?
Drake Opened A Restaurant In Toronto

Drake held a pretty exclusive event last night, but it had nothing to do with his recent project with Future -- in fact, it had nothing to do with music whatsoever. Drake's party in Toronto was to celebrate the opening of his new restaurant with celebrity chef, Susur Lee. It's called Fring's, and it's located in the heart of downtown at 455 King St. W.
