If the current crop of emojis aren't satisfying your text life, Unicode Consortium aims to please with 72 brand new emojis which will be released today, June 21st.
Although the new emojis are releasing today, it could take some time before Apple, Google and Microsoft get around to publicly releasing them.
"It's worth noting that the approval date of Unicode 9.0 doesn't necessarily mean they will be rolled out to end-users on this date."
"From June 21, vendors such as Apple, Google and Microsoft are able to start including these in public releases."
Among the new emojis that will soon be at your fingertips are bacon, avocados, silver back gorillas, rhinos, sharks, a pinocchio face, hotdogs, burritos, "rolling on the floor laughing," and more.
