50 Cent has joined Meek Mill in showing support for Troy Ave.

Troy Avehas been denied bail for his attempted murder and weapon charges, and some fellow artists have been showing the rapper support on social media. Following Meek Mill's words on the subject, 50 Cent has also offered some advice to Troy, posting a photo of the New York emcee being wheeled into the court yesterday after his release from hospital.

"Self Defense thats more like it now," he captioned the pic. "Hold ya head TROY. See how the story change."

Troy's charges stem from a shooting at T.I.'s Irving Plaza show last week which left 1 dead and 3 injured. Troy was among of those wounded, while his friend, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter, was the man who lost his life. A video which showed Troy opening fire inside the venue was later released by the NYPD.

Troy's lawyer recently argued that Troy is in fact the victim in all of this, suggesting the short video clip that was released tells only a small piece of the story. "It doesn't say what happened before, it doesn't say what happened after. The scientific evidence will show he didn't shoot himself. This was another rush to judgement," he told the New York Daily News.
