Bieber has only become more troll-ish as he grows up.

Justin Bieber may have found his Purpose on his last album, but his rebirth as a Christian hasn't stopped him from growing into a troll. Whether he's messing around with his fans or getting under the skin of other artists, the singer knows how to get a reaction out of people. For the most part, it's all out of good fun, but there are definitely some recurring motives for his targets.

Check out 5 moments where Bieber has exposed his inner troll in the galleries above.

Post Malone Stangled

When he made us all believe Post Malone strangled him after a show

Last April, while Justin Bieber and Post Malone were on tour together, a photo surfaced that looked a whole lot like Post Malone holding Bieber by the throat. The internet tends to come with jokes first and questions later, so the pic became a meme before anyone could make a statement on whether it was actually the result of a confrontation. The first report alleged that the altercation arose from Bieber putting out a cigarette on Post's arm while he was performing.

Eventually, Post cleared things up and the two posed for another photo on Justin's Instagram. Turns out, they were just trolling.

When he made sure Taylor Swift knew whose side he was on

Bieber's troll-ish behavior has been known to come out when Selena Gomez is involved, and seeing as Gomez is good friends with Taylor Swift, the singer made sure to send a message to Taylor following the infamous Kim Kardashian snapchat story that exposed her. Right after the dramatic night that revealed Taylor's phonecall with Kanye where she gave him the green light for the "Famous" line she'd later criticize, Bieber posted a screencap of a call with Kanye with the smug caption "Taylor Swift What Up." The quip was trending as a hashtag on Twitter not long after.

Remember when he posted this then #TaylorSwiftWhatUp started trending on twitter pic.twitter.com/Rd0yGV2Oji

When he sent out a no-chill tweet about Ronda Rousey's devastating loss

Bieber is said to have once refused to take a picture with Ronda Rousey's sister at the Cannes Film Festival, which caused a rift between the two. When Rousey was knocked out in 48 seconds at the tail end of 2017, Bieber didn't forget to bring the troll out.

When he called The Weeknd's music "wack"

When he called The Weeknd's music "wack" following rumors he was dating Selena

Bieber and Selena Gomez have a long history, and the singer has greeted reports that The Weeknd is now dating Selena with some of his most troll-ish behavior yet. Not only did he call Abel's music "wack" when he was asked about the rumors by TMZ, but he also made a crack about "Starboy" in an Instagram story the night he skipped out on the Grammys (Abel, meanwhile, performed). This may just be the beginning of Justin's The Weeknd-targeted mischief, as the Starboy has possibly retaliated on Nav's "Some Way," encouraging the subtle beef further.
