Aesop Rock blends music and drawing in emotional clip.

Hip-hop's surrealist poet and king of the abstract Aesop Rock dropped a brand new video today for "Get Out Of The Car." The track originated on Aesop's acclaimed album The Impossible Kid, which dropped in April of 2016. Still, Aesop announced that the track held special significance for him, brought on by the nine-year anniversary of his friend Camu Tau's death.

For the video, Aesop teamed up with friend and collaborator Coro, who brought the lyrics to life with some accompanying artwork. The end result is an almost fable-esque backdrop, dynamically moving while Aesop sits as if posted by a campfire. It's a lovely piece of work, so check it out now.
