World Series Game 5 Ends In Dramatic Fashion: Twitter Reacts

Another epic World Series finish.

The Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers have put on an epic performance in the 113th World Series, including last night's historic Game 5 which concluded on a game-winning hit by Astros third basemen Alex Bregman in the bottom of the 10th.

With last night's 13-12 victory, Houston now has a 3-2 lead as the series shifts back to Dodger Stadium.

Five different Astros players homered in Game 5, including Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Yuli Gurriel, Brian McCann and George Springer. Three of those were game-tying homeruns.

The two teams have now combined for 22 homeruns in the Series, setting a new record for most home runs in a World Series. Additionally the total number of homers hit in the postseason is at 101, which is the most in a single postseason according to ESPN.

A number of other records were set last night including (H/T ESPN):

- This was the first World Series in which four different players age 23 or younger hit a home run. Cody Bellinger, who is 22 years old, homered on Sunday night, following Bregman (Game 1), Corey Seager (Game 2), and Correa (Game 2 and Game 5), who are all 23 years old.

- The Astros became the first team in postseason history with three game-tying home runs in a game.

- Sunday's game was the highest-scoring extra-innings game in postseason history.

Game 6 will take place tomorrow night at Dodger Stadium, first pitch is scheduled for 8:20pm.
