Twitter firebrand Azealia Banks performed at Coachella today, backed by a small cadre of dancers and a full band. It was sweltering in the Coachella Valley, with temperatures soaring into the 90s, but the unbearable heat only played to Azealia's strengths.
Highlights include her performance of her first-rate banger "Heavy Metal and Reflective" starting at about the 9:31 mark. Towards the end of the set she literally does that Dave Chappelle "kick it up a notch" move from the John Mayer/Questlove/White People Dancing sketch where he pulls up his pants and raps into a megaphone that is blasting directly into a microphone.
