Chicago's Warhol.SS recently impressed with his EP Where's Warhol, which found him channeling the iconic children's look-and-find figure. While he may lack the aloof charms of the OG Waldo, Warhol has done alright for himself. The rapper has already landed collaborations with Rich The Kid and Trippie Redd, and continues to solidify his spot in the new generation's starting lineup. With his debut project Chest Pains on the way (it was completed in mid-February), Warhol has shown mercy and bequeathed a gift upon us. Said gift is "Get Up With Me," a loosie produced by BLKYTH.
With EYYYYYYY ad-libs in abundance, you can guess the vibe we're looking at. Over a bouncy, synth-driven beat, Warhol delivers confident lyrics with a near-growling cadence. Fans of Playboi Carti will no doubt find much to love about this one, but Warhol.SS separates himself from the pack through a clever pen-game and topical flow.
