Tom Brady has shown time and again that he doesn't need a lineup of star wide receivers to lead an explosive offense. That said, the five-time Super Bowl champ certainly isn't opposed to recruiting a big time offensive weapon, including four-time NBA MVP LeBron James.

Fans have always wondered what it would be like to watch the 6'8, 250 lbs freak athlete on the gridiron and it appears Brady is no different. The Pats QB recently took to instagram to drop a comment on Bron's IG page which reads, "Damn bro come play tight end you and Gronk would be unstoppable!!!!!"

Brady will be without his best wide receiver, Julian Edelman, for the first four games of the season as he serves his suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Without Edelman in the lineup, the Pats wide receiver core consists of Chris Hogan, Cordarrelle Patterson, Chad Hansen and Matt Slater. Of course, Brady still has Gronk, and pass-catching running backs Rex Burkhead and James White, so we think he'll get along just fine this season - as he always seems to do.

New England will host the Houston Texans in their season opener this Sunday, September 9.
