The UK singer has put out a handful of tracks in the recent past that have garnered significant attention, in particular her collaboration with Dreamville's EARTHGANG, "Collide," off the Queen & Slim soundtrack as well as her solo single, "Think About You." Now, she's back with a new tune rife with lovey-dovey sweetness, but she hopes it can serve as a source of comfort as well.
“’Lucky’ is a song about feeling ‘lucky in love,'” Tiana told SPIN. “Things are very heavy right now for Black people everywhere — we’re grieving and experiencing trauma simultaneously. Although it was written before the double pandemic (COVID-19 and Lynching of Black people), I hope that it puts a smile on your face and keeps your spirits up.
