At long last, the "Deadwood" movie is upon us.

When Deadwood was unceremoniously pulled from HBO after an acclaimed third season, many fans were left disappointed at the unresolved story. Though it was entirely possible to view the conclusion as a viable, if a little bleak series finale, viewers have long championed for David Milch to bring his tale to a proper close. Now, thirteen years later, the movie is upon us, bringing the majority of the living cast members back into the fold. To get the hype rolling, HBO has officially unveiled the project's first trailer, which provides a brief yet enticing look at the upcoming return to Deadwood.

The trailer provides glimpses of Al Swearengen, Seth Bullock, Alma Ellsworth, Trixie, Charlie Utter, “Calamity” Jane Canary, Martha Bullock,  and many more familiar faces. For the most part, the Al/Bullock dynamic appears to be in full swing, much to the delight of the hooples. While plot details remain scarce, an official summary points to what we can expect to see. "The indelible characters of the series are reunited after 10 years to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood,” it teases. “Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”

Any Deadwood fans up here? If so, are you going to be tuning in?
