Drake Day is upon us: VIEWS has arrived. With such an album that has generated a nearly unprecedented amount of hype over the course of several months, the impulse is to consume the album immediately upon its release. The reality is, it take a few days or weeks to fully process VIEWS album. On the flip side, it is easier to identify the most clever, insightful, memorable lyrical moments.

Drake's album opener is a reflection on his circle friends, or lack thereof-- instead he relies only on family. It's soothing with bursts of hard-hitting drums, and a few subtweet-worthy lines.
