Meek Mill and Tee Grizzley finally drop off their "First Day Out" remix.

Back in June 2017, Meek Mill and Tee Grizzley teased the remix to "First Day Out." A lot has happened in the interim, and unfortunately, Meek has since found himself incarcerated. Now, in the wake of the Philadelphia Eagle's first ever Super Bowl victory, it feels as good a time as any to drop the long-awaited "First Day Out" remix. While the verses were recorded a while ago, Meek rapping over "First Day Out" does hold some serious significance, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Wins & Losses rapper working on his own iteration of the Tee Grizzley hit.

Meek's a great fit for the triumphant piano-driven instrumental, and while his bars don't necessarily align with the significance of his current predicament, it's a solid verse regardless. Tee Grizzley closes things off with a new verse, reminding us that he's the only rapper of his generation with a mansion. If you thought that the buzz of "First Day Out" was over, think again.

Quotable Lyrics

Being broke did somethin' to my soul
Had a n***a locked down twenty-three in the hole
Touched down came home poured ace up with Hov
I done bagged a pop star and put a Wraith on the road

- Meek
