Smokepurpp drops off an expanded edition of "Lost Planet."

When Smokepurpp originally dropped off his Lost Planet EP, some wondered if he was paying direct homage to Capcom's cult favorite video game of the same name. Others wondered if he was offering a cynical take on our own planet, dubbing it "lost" in an age of social media and instant gratification. Either way, Purpp's latest came and went, and now it has come again in the way of an updated version. This time around, Purpp has revised the album cover and added three bonus tracks, including "Walk On Water," "Gucci Goggles," and "Type To."

The first two new tracks are both produced by B Hunna, with Purpp bringing out an additional dose of aggression for good measure. The newfangled closing track "Type To" might be the best of the bunch, as Purpp takes to a bouncing instrumental to administer some clever threats. "I knock his head down to his feet, he Mr. Potato," raps Purpp. "He came looking for a lick, he left with a halo."

Be sure to stream Lost Planet 2.0 now, and keep an eye out for that Deadstar 2 coming soon.
