On Sunday, Anaheim Angels rookie sensation Shohei Ohtani picked up a win in his major league pitching debut in Oakland. Last night in Anaheim, Ohtani served as the Angels' DH and he thrived once again.
The Japanese star, who is looking to become the league's first two-way player since Babe Ruth, hit a three-run homerun in his first at-bat in front of the home crowd. Naturally, his teammates gave him the silent treatment once he returned to the dugout, but he received a curtain call from the fans shortly thereafter.

Ohtani, 23, went 3 for 4 in his debut at Angel Stadium.
In his pitching debut, Ohtani allowed three runs and three hits over six innings, with six strikeouts to just one walk, in the Angels' 7-4 victory against the A's. According to Yahoo Sports, the last player to win a game as a pitcher and hit a first-inning home run within a two-day span was Babe Ruth, who achieved the feat between June 13-14 way back in 1921.
