September 11th is a day that will be remembered in American history as one of enormous tragedy. The date, however, is also noteworthy (on a much smaller scale, of course) as being the anniversary of one of hip-hop's most beloved albums, JAY Z's The Blueprint.
Paying tribute to the classic LP, Shawn Chrystopher drops off a freestyle to one of the album's less-appreciated tracks, the Kanye West-produced "Never Change." Leaving the instrumental rightfully unchanged (no pun intended), the up-and-coming emcee puts his personal truths on wax, musing about lessons learned on the come-up and why it's important to stay true.
