Eminem shot the video for his new song “Not Afraid” on the streets of Newark, New Jersey today, as people from the city watched intently.

Megan Fox is apparently very close to starring in Eminem's new "Love The Way You Lie" video.

According to E Online she will play along side Dominic Monaghan (From the popular TV show "Lost")

Eminem stays on top of album sales charts again this week while M.I.A. Currensy, Paul Wall & CNN make appearences on the charts also.

Def Jam South President DJ Khaled explains his interest in recruiting Eminem for his next collaboration and says it will be his biggest anthem he's ever done. And you know Khaled got hits, so this must be serious.

Drake explained how Eminem and Jay-Z fans are very devoted to them and always stay loyal and feels Lil Wayne deserves the same.

He told MTV :

In hosting his first annual Ovo (October's Very Own) Festival, Drake pulled out all the stops with a guest list featuring many of Rap's VIPs.



Jay-Z, Eminem, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Bun B and Fabolous joined the Toronto rapper in his hometown for the show, which none of the concertgoers were likely to ever forget.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards  will feature yet another epic battle: Lady Gaga leading the nominations, with 13, followed close behind by Eminem, who has eight nods. And on September 12 at 9:00 p.m ET, the pop diva and the Detroit MC will go head to head for the coveted Video of the Year Moonman.

Eminem seems to have fallen for Rihanna during the time they spent together making "Love The Way You Lie". Eminem, who apparently wants to date Rihanna, was recently put on blast by his grandmother of all people. Eminem's grandmother Betty Kresin actually thinks that her grandson and Rihanna make a great couple. She also revealed that the two superstars are constantly texting and talking on the phone to each other. However, Rihanna is currently dating Matt Kemp, who plays baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and is keeping the relationship with Eminem strictly platonic.

Eminem's 'Recovery' hit the double platinum mark in mid-August, becoming the best-selling rap album of the year, after a successful eight-week run on the charts.



The album's second single 'Love the Way You Lie' featuring Rihanna, settled atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five consecutive weeks following its debut and now Em is gearing up to release the album's third single. Shady confirmed to Billboard that the Lil Wayne-featured track 'No Love' is set to debut next.

B.o.B was fortunate enough to land Eminem as a guest on his debut album 'B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray,' but now the ATL rapper will take it a step further when he opens for Em and Jay-Z at Detroit's Comerica Park on Sept. 2 and 3.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery moved up a notch to No. 2 with 81,000 copies falling one slot behind Sara Bareilles' Kaleidoscope Heart which sold 89,500 records. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the rapper's new album has sold 2,501,400 records to date.



Soulful singer Fantasia's Back To Me fell from Top 10 moving down six slots to No. 11 with 29,400. After three weeks in stores, the singer's new LP has sold 186,600 copies.

Eminem cannot regain his previous Top 5 position, Trey Songz continues his dominance at No. 7 plus John Legend and The Roots wake-up their competition.



Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery dropped out of Top 5 this week, moving down three slots to No. 6 with with 65,800 while Zac Brown Band's You Get What You Give topped the chart with 153,700 sold albums. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Em's new album has sold 2,656,200 records after 14 weeks in stores.

Slaughterhouse's Joell Ortiz has updated eager fans begging to find out when and if his four-member crew are still planning to ink a deal with Eminem's Shady Records.



Speaking on a Sirius/XL satellite radio broadcast, Ortiz said there was no doubt Slaughterhouse would slowly but surely be under Em's wing.

The 2011 Grammy nominees were announced at a Los Angeles concert Wednesday night that was broadcast live on CBS. Two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J hosted the hour-long program that included performances from Bruno Mars, B.O.B., Justin Bieber and Train.



This year, artists must have released a project between Sept. 1, 2009, through Sept. 30, 2010, to be eligible for an award. While that leaves out albums from Kanye West, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, many others are in the running. The main event takes place on Feb. 13, 2011 in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS at 8PM ET/PT.

As I was sifting through the list of Grammy nominees a couple weeks ago, I saw a lot of familiar names. 

Eminem? Check.

Jay-Z?  Of course. 

Kanye West? This dude can’t stay off the list.

Eminem's 2010 comeback continues, with news that the superstar MC will be returning to the big screen for his first starring role in eight years. Em received praise for his 2002 debut in '8 Mile,' but the troubled rapper refused to take on another feature film, and only recently made a brief cameo in the 2009 dramedy 'Funny People.'

West Coast based producer Hit-Boy may not be the most recognizable name on the shelf but his music has already backed the vocals for a number of hip-hop’s elite.



Crafting Eminem and Lil Wayne’s first collaboration (“Drop The World”) and Mary J. Blige’s ’09 hit single (“Stronger”), the 23-year-old beatsmith also lent his hand to the making of Kanye West’s first Christmas-inspired record, a collaboration between Dipset and G.O.O.D. Music.

Eminem will appear on the March cover of XXL magazine alongside Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, to detail his decision to sign both acts to his Shady Records imprint.

Following the release of Eminem's official Grammys commercial last week, it has been confirmed that the chart-topping rapper is set to perform at the 53rd annual awards show on Feb. 13.

Hit musical comedy 'Glee' may be one of the most successful shows on television, but they're not big enough for Eminem. This will also mark the fifth time the Detroit-bred rapper has won the award for Best Rap Album.

Eminem might have been snubbed at the Grammys, but when it comes to social networking, he's part of an elite group of artists to reach the top in viewership.



The 'Recovery' hitmaker is expected to join Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber as the only artists to achieve one billion views on YouTube.

Detroit is getting sinister. Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" have announced plans to team up for a joint EP dubbed 'Bad Meets Evil,' slated for release on June 14. The project serves as a long-awaited follow-up to their 1999 collaboration of the same name, and is set to feature production from D12's Mr. Porter, Mobb Deep's Havoc, DJ Khalil, Bangladesh and more.

More than a month after his 2002 album 'The Eminem Show' was certified diamond, the Detroit rapper has achieved the same milestone with another release. Slim Shady's third studio album 'The Marshall Mathers LP' -- released eleven years -- has gone diamond, with the album shipping more than 10 million units.

Eminem and fellow Detroit rapper Royce Da 5'9" are reviving their early '90s rap group Bad Meets Evil with a new EP titled 'Hell: The Sequel.'



Marshall Mathers announced the EP's official title on Twitter, Monday night (May 2) with two brief messages. "At midnight I'm announcing the EP title," he tweeted. The title, 'Hell: The Sequel' simply followed.

The MTV journalist is heading back to the airwaves with his show "Sway in the Morning."



Eminem is expanding his radio station Shade 45’s roster with the addition of MTV News’ Sway Calloway. The revered journalist, who made his mark as the host of the “Wake Up Show” with King Tech, will host “Sway in the Morning,” which will air on the SIRIUS XM Radio channel beginning in July.

Eminem is renowned for various facets of his emceeing ability, but none perhaps more than his scathing disses. Whether it be "Nail in the Coffin," "The Sauce," "Girls," or a slew of other tracks, Slim Shady has proven himself to be no slouch when it comes to penning insults.



One emcee who has taken notice is Game, who in a recent interview with MTV News explained that Eminem is essentially untouchable. "One thing that stuck with me is that Eminem is not to be fucked with ever in Hip Hop, ever," he explained to Sway Calloway.

Forbes has announced its annual Hip Hop Cash Kings list. The leader of the pack is none other than Jay-Z, while additional Hip Hop stars to make the cut include Eminem, Diddy, Dr. Dre, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and more.

Rare footage of rapper Eminem will be featured in a new documentary titled “The Untold Story of Detroit Hip-Hop,” which is nearing completion, according to the documentary’s director.

The documentary is being produced and directed by Brian “Champtown” Harmon, a fixture on the Detroit hip-hop scene, who helped or worked with several of the industry’s biggest stars in the early days of their careers, including Eminem, Proof, Insane Clown Posse, Kid Rock and others.

As Slaughterhouse readies its Shady Records debut, Crooked I recently discussed the anticipated project with Conspiracy Worldwide Hip Hop Radio.



The West Coast emcee first discussed the possibility of getting DJ Premier involved in the project. "It's always a possibility until it's getting pressed up and printed up," said Crooked. "When we did the first Slaughterhouse album, we recorded most of it in Premier's studio, in New York. HeadQCourterz."
