Schoolboy Q's latest album CrasH Talk is filled with bangers. The project is a fulfilling follow up to Blank Face, and shows the musical growth of Q in the process. The TDE and Black Hippie member teamed up with 6lack for the slow and intoxicating single "Drunk." Slow blues piano keys pepper the instrumental, which sound like being drunk feels. Winding and a little sporadic, the beat conveys just as much emotion as Q and 6lack.
The two artists work very well together, creating a haunting single with a catchy chorus. Q and 6lack lay down lyrics about the intersection of love and alcohol, a topic that many of us can relate to. Although the track is about liquor, the winding instrumental makes for good listening while smoking as well.
