Westbrook hints at a "Banned" Air Jordan 1 release.

The iconic "Banned" Air Jordan 1 has long been rumored to return this year, and if this recent ad by Jordan Brand featuring Russell Westbrook is any indication those rumors are true.

In promotion of the upcoming Air Jordan 31, which takes cues from the Air Jordan 1, Russell Westbrook can be seen holding a pair of the "Banned" 1s and talking about how special it is that Jordan Brand is bringing it back out.

Rumors suggest the kicks will be returning around Labor Day, possibly on September 3rd, and it's likely to be this pair that has been floating around with a unique tumbled leather tooling.

As for the Air Jordan 31, they'll be officially unveiled tomorrow but you can take a look at the "USA" colorway as seen on the feet of Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony right here.
