On Sunday, Pries will be releasing his (possibly L. Frank Baum-inspired?) mixtape American Fairytale, and after hitting us with "Waves" and "Fuck You And Your Bitch" back in December, is ready to give us one last leak from the project. "The Don" also features Rochester's own Emilio Rojas.
Opening with some sultry female vocals, the Jayze-produced cut has Pries kicking things off by saying he's "the hottest thing since shoestrings" and giving a powerful verse over the bombastic, cymbal-heavy beat. There's a bit of a Western vibe to this one, with some Ennio Morricone-style brass entering the mix, and Pries dressing like a fly cowboy in the artwork.
