NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis believes his NFL career would have lasted longer if CBD was around when he was playing for the Denver Broncos.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, Davis revealed that he now uses CBD regularly and believes it would have helped him heal quicker when he was dealing with injuries during the final seasons of his career.

"I believe so, because any time you can help your body heal—you can take out the swelling, the inflammation and you can do it in a way that's natural—I feel like absolutely it would have assisted in that," Davis said. He added, "the effects that it has on my body is incredible."

According to TMZ, Davis is actually coming out with his own CBD product called 'Defy' that is set to launch this Spring.

TD, now 46 years old, was a three-time Pro Bowler, three-time First Team All-Pro, two-time Super Bowl champion and an NFL MVP during his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos. That includes a historic 1998 campaign in which he rushed for 2,008 yards and 23 total touchdowns (21 rushing).

However, Davis appeared in just 17 total games over the next three seasons as he dealt with knee injuries and ultimately retired from the game at the age of 29. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
