The final season of Game Of Thrones is nearly upon us, set to premiere on Sunday, April 14th. And while the first official trailer has yet to arrive, it would appear that HBO has decided to show a bit of mother's mercy, in the form of several character posters. The newly released batch of images features a recurring theme - every living (primary) character seated atop the Iron Throne.
Included among them are Jon Snow, Daenerys Targeryen, Jaime Lannister, current seat-holder Cersei Lannister, Northern-armor clad Jaime Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, The Three-Eyed Raven, Brienne of Tarth, Ser Davos Seaworth, Euron Greyjoy, Theon Greyjoy, Ser Jorah Mormont, Grey Woman, Missandei, The Night King, Melisandre, Varys, Samwell Tarly, and Sandor "The Hound" Clegane.
In honor of the poster launch, each of the aforementioned has been giving their own emoji, activated by using their respective hashtags. Check out the posters above, and take a moment to consider - if the Iron Thrones does indeed survive the wars to come, who might find themselves seated atop it?
