N.O. 2017.

Last month the NBA announced that they were pulling the All-Star Game out of Charlotte due to North Carolina's failure to change discriminatory legislation against the LGBT community.

Today the league has announced that New Orleans will be the new home of the NBA's 2017 All-Star Weekend. It was always speculated that the home of the Pelicans would serve as the ASG venue once Charlotte was dumped but now it's official. It wasn't long ago that New Orleans hosted All-Star Weekend, 2014, but what better place to host the NBA's biggest party of the year than The Big Easy?

The 2017 All-Star festivities will kick off on Friday, February 17th with the actual All-Star game taking place on Sunday the 19th.
